Creating an Account on myhomedepotaccount.com
Creating an Home Depot account is easy. Near the top right corner of the page you will see a button that says ‘sign in or register your account’. Mousing over this area will reveal a menu. Select ‘register for an account’ and you will be brought to a page prompting you to supply your information. You will need to fill in your name, ZIP code and e-mail address, and think of a password. After filling in these fields, click ‘register’ at the bottom of the screen and your account will be created.
Signing in to Your Account
Once you are registered, signing in to your account is as simple as clicking ‘sign in’ and entering your e-mail address and password. After you login, you will be brought to your account, where you can perform a variety of functions.
Checking Your Balance and Paying Bills
Once you’ve signed in to your account, you will be able to see any purchases you have made, and if you have an outstanding balance you will be able to pay the bill. You will see separate balances for your consumer and commercial credit cards, if you have them, and for your account. You can make a credit card payment from here as well.
Credit Cards and Project Loans
You can apply for credit cards online, but you have to go into a Home Depot store to apply for a project loan. You can apply for project loans of up to $40,000, and won’t have to make a payment for six months after the loan. After six months you can make monthly payments online using your account.
