My Ed Account is the official website of the federal student loan servicing. We will see how to create and manage an account. You can also make your payments online.

If you use the federal website for the first time, it is so easy to create an account.
Firstly, go on www.myedaccount.com.
Secondly, you must click on the following button:
Then, you have to fill in the following information:
When you have finish this step, click on continue:
Congratulation, you made the most difficult. Now you will complete 4 other steps in order to achieve your account creation on My Ed Account, and you will manage your student loans and your payments online.
You just have to continue the different stages in order to finish your subscription. You must complete more information about yourself. Then, you have to choose a security question and a security image. This is necessary if you loose your password. To finish you just have to verify all your information reported.
I forgot my username or my password on My Ed Account
I you forgot one of these information, you can login with your personal information.
If you loose your username, click on the button “Forgot Username” which is under the word “Username”.
If you loose your password, click on the button “Forgot Password” which is under the word “Password” when you try to login.
To identify yourself, you have to complete the following information:
- Social Security Number
- Birthday
Next, click on “Request account info” or “Request password”.
The security question is asked to you. And if all information matches, your username on myedaccount is removed, or your password will be reset. You just have to choose a new password, and an email will be send to you. You can login again to make loan and payments on the website.

My Direct Loan Account was transferred to Mohela in July 2012. I was told by Mohela that I should contact you for my 2012 Tax Document. Can you please e-mail that to me.

Question : I just had a quick question. I am in charge of putting together my medical school yearbook, but my classmates are rotation at clerkships all over the country/world and am unable to collect funds directly. I was wondering if there is a way to set up an account online so my classmates can pay for the yearbook directly into my account and then I can pay for all the yearbooks at once from my account. I was looking for a free service. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank you for your help.

2012 Tax Document : My Direct Loan Account was transferred to Mohela in October 2012. I was told by Mohela that I should contact you for my January to September 2012 Tax Document.
Also, I made a payment in February 2013 by Check #198 for $109.00 cashed on February 20th, but my acc./ at Mohela was not credited. Could you please transfer payment to Mohela?

I just received my new PIN this morning via email and I am trying to access the appropriate website in order to obtain a Form 1098T for tax purposes (to determine amount of interest paid in 2012 on student loan). When I entered the myedaccount.com website it indicates that I must log in for a “new” user id and a “new” pin number. I’m now unsure what website I need to go to and how to obtain the appropriate tax form. I will appreciate your assistance!

Taxes have not been paid : MY LOAN PAYMENT INCLUDES THE TAXES TO BE PAID OUT OF PAYMENT. I GOT MY TAXES FROM THE CITY AND YOU GUYS HAVE NOT PAID MY MONTHY TAXES. I HAVE A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $2,078.76.
